Introducing the Liminal Codex
"Liminal" means:

1. occupying a position at, or on both sides of, a boundary or threshold.
2. relating to a transitional or initial stage of a process.
Not only is it a play on words but this also reflects my philosophy; being able to stand beween two positions, two opinions and two thoughts. Occupying that space between, taking the concept of the "cross-roads", the in-between times of dusk and dawn, light and dark to another dimension.
"Codex" means:
1. an ancient manuscript text in book form.
2. an official list of medicines, chemicals, etc.

Origin: late 16th century (denoting a collection of statutes): from Latin, literally ‘block of wood’, later denoting a block split into leaves or tablets for writing on, hence a book.
The Liminal Codex is to be a repository of writings related to various esoteric, occult, pagan, witch, wicca, religious, spiritual and other such topics.
As with many things in the occult nothing is complete until it's complimentary opposite is explored, as above so below, severity and mercy, shadow and light. To only examine one side creates an imbalance. To favor one side and to neglect it's opposite creates the shadow self - where unresolved, repressed or unrecognised aspects can surface often through projection and we risk becoming the very thing we repress.
